The Conception Kit® at-home system provides men with a convenient and private way to address common male infertility factors.
When couples have difficulty getting pregnant, some men may feel discouraged but will not always open up about their frustration company website. However, male infertility is more common than many people think and it is important for men to know they are not alone. In one out of every five couples facing infertility issues, the cause lies solely with the male partner. There are many different factors that affect male infertility, and thankfully some of the most common issues can be easily addressed without invasive procedures. When it comes to treating infertility, it is important to understand the cause, but not always necessary. For example, low sperm count or low sperm motility are two very common causes for infertility and they can now be addressed by a prescription fertility treatment known as the Conception Kit® at-home system. The Conception Kit® at-home system does not require men to visit a fertility clinic or give a semen analysis prior to use so it is an ideal first step. Instead, men can simply discuss the Conception Kit® with their doctor and obtain a prescription for it. The kit includes all the materials needed for a three-month home-based treatment that is designed to address low sperm count and low sperm motility among other common infertility issues.
How it Works
When a man has low sperm count, there are not as many sperm available to fertilize the egg. This is very important when you consider that 90% of all sperm die within the first ten minutes inside the vagina. Similarly, men with low sperm motility produce sperm that are not able to move as well within the vagina and consequently have a difficult time reaching the egg. Both of these issues can be addressed with the Conception Kit® at-home system. The Conception Kit® is FDA cleared and is indicated for assisted insemination with low sperm count, low sperm motility, or hostile vaginal environment. The Conception Kit® includes 24 ovulation predictors for timing the Luteinizing Hormone Surge (LHSurge) and provides medical-grade materials to protect and concentrate sperm near the cervix to optimize the opportunity fertilization.
To use the kit, couples start by reading the Instruction for Use Manual and recording details of their cycle in the Conception Journal. The Practice Conception Cap® helps the couple learn proper placement on the cervix. Ovulation predictors determine when the best time for conception to occur. Next, the couple enjoys sex in the comfort of their home using the Latex-Free Semen Collector and Sperm Friendly Intimate Moisturizer. Semen is collected and transferred from the semen collector to the soft and flexible Conception Cap® which is then placed over the cervical os (opening) and left there for 4-6 hours. The Conception Cap® protects the sperm so they can live up to and beyond 6 hours and are concentrated around the opening of the cervix so they have the best chance of entering the uterine cavity to fertilize the egg. This way, semen with low sperm count or motility is given the optimal chance of penetrating the cervix. Lastly at the end of the woman’s cycle the pregnancy test is used to determine if conception has been achieved.
An Ideal First Step
The Conception Kit® at-home system is covered as a pharmacy benefit under most insurance plans and can be purchased during the initial twelve months of the conception period. Available without insurance for just $350 and with insurance for a copay of $35 to $80, the Conception Kit® at-home system is less expensive than the infertility treatments or clinical diagnostic tests. It is non-invasive and protects the privacy of both partners while giving them greater control over their family planning process.
