Couples can achieve their goal of starting a family even while facing infertility challenges with the help of the Conception Kit® at-home system.

After marriage, many couples are excited to begin planning their family. Having children is a dream of many people all across the world. Unfortunately, for some couples this dream can be difficult to achieve. Due to a range of possible infertility issues in both men and women, a large number of couples are unable to become pregnant within the first year of trying. We understand this may cause frustration and strain on a relationship but there is hope for couples who are looking for help conceiving.

Research Early Treatment Options

By doing a little research or speaking with their doctor, couples can learn about a wide array of treatment options to help them get pregnant. Some clinical treatments can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars and are still not guaranteed to work. For this reason, it is smart to start with the least invasive and least expensive treatments first.

The Conception Kit® is an Ideal First Step

The good news is there is now a prescription infertility treatment known as the Conception Kit® at-home system that is available by prescription nationwide. The Conception Kit® at-home system is FDA cleared to treat common male and female infertility issues including low sperm count, low sperm motility, and an acidic vaginal pH environment. The Conception Kit® is designed to be used at home and provides all the materials necessary to complete a comprehensive three-month fertility treatment. It does not require prior clinical testing and is covered by most insurance companies as a prescription benefit making it very cost effective.   As a prescription benefit, the Conception Kit® at-home system is available for a $35-$80 copay and is only around $350 without insurance. This represents a significant savings when compared to clinical treatments that can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.

How It Works

The Conception Kit® at-home system utilizes ovulation timing and cervical cap insemination to maximize a couple’s ability to conceive. It is easy to use and allows partners to maintain a normal daily schedule.   The first step is to read the Instruction for Use Manual and record details of the woman’s cycle in the Conception Journal. A Practice Conception Cap® is included to help the couple learn proper placement on the cervix. Ovulation predictors determine when the best time for conception to occur. When the time is right, the couple enjoys sex in the comfort of their home using the Latex-Free Semen Collector and Sperm Friendly Intimate Moisturizer.   Semen is collected and transferred from the semen collector to the soft and flexible Conception Cap® which is then placed over the cervical os (opening) and left there for 4-6 hours. The Conception Cap® protects the sperm so they can live up to and beyond 6 hours and are concentrated around the opening of the cervix so they have the best chance of entering the uterine cavity to fertilize the egg. Lastly at the end of the woman’s cycle a pregnancy test is used to determine if conception has been achieved.

There is never a better time than the present to take charge of your family planning. Couples who are interested in learning more about the Conception Kit® at-home system should speak with their doctor. After just one simple office visit couples with be that much closer to realizing their dream of having a family.
