Individuals who are affected by infertility can come together in support and to build awareness for the disease during National Infertility Awareness Week® observed this month in the United States.

The week of April 24th through the 30th is National Infertility Awareness Week®. During this week, the National Infertility Association (also known as RESOLVE) spreads awareness of about the disease of infertility and encouraging the public to better understand reproductive health issues and speak out for reproductive rights. Resolve founded the movement in 1989 and works with communities, families, and corporate and governmental bodies to ensure better reproductive care, greater awareness for the disease of infertility, and important legislative opportunities to support these initiatives.

Infertility is a disease that affects many people and makes it difficult to conceive a child among other issues. National Infertility Awareness Week® is a chance for people to learn more about their reproductive rights, affordable healthcare options, and fertility treatment opportunities. It is a time when those affected by the disease can come together in solidarity and support. In fact, it is such an important event that in 2010 it became a federally recognized health observance by the Department of Health and Human Services.

For those who are affected by infertility, it is important to know there are many options for natural treatments that are affordable, accessible, and private. One example is the Conception Kit® at-home system. This is a three-month treatment program that combines ovulation timing and cervical cap insemination technology to effectively address common infertility issues such as low sperm count, low sperm motility, and an acidic vaginal pH environment. Patients who are interested in learning more can talk with their doctor to obtain a prescription.
